Anyone out there written a dotText to dasBlog conversion utility?  Willing to share?

I went looking for this the other day, as I was having trouble with migrating my .TEXT blog to a hosting provider, and figured that the fact that dasBlog was XML-based might help (the problem turned out to be that the default constraints were missed when migrating the DB). All I found was a converter for the opposite direction dasBlog -> .TEXT.

Reason's for conversion:
<br>
<br>* Optimized for a single blog
<br>* XCOPY deployable
<br>* Site Search
<br>* Mail-To-Weblog
<br>* Upgrade process seems to be very clean per people who currently use it and upgraded over the last couple of revs.
<br>* Actively maintained and updated
<br>
<br>
<br>And from a personal perspective (Your mileage may vary):
<br>
<br>* I find the code very satisfying from an architecture perspective (Found it much easier to add some additional functionality that I was looking for)
<br>* There seems to be an actual configuration and release managment process in place for bugfixes and updates.

Well, I can't blame you, as the ongoing dev support for dasBlog certainly appears better, which is not surprising, given that more people appear to be involved. ScottW has done a fantastic job with .TEXT, and he's been more than accomodating in helping me get issues fixed, but ultimately he is only one guy, and he can only scale so far. :-)

<br>I hope you'll post to your blog if you find a converter, in case others decide to make the switch.

I have actually started a project for this purpose. It is being hosted at sourceforge with bsd licensing, and details can be found here :
