I recently signed and sent off my official appointment letter which stated:

I am pleased to offer you an appointment as Lecturer in the [Johns Hopkins University] Whiting School's Engineering and Applied Science Program for Professionals. It is my understanding that you have agreed to teach the following course(s) for the Spring 2008 semester:

605.702.31 - Service-Oriented Architecture

I am looking forward to this new and interesting chapter in my life!

Hello, I'm a JHU student thinking of taking the class. I know this might be early, but would you happen to have more information on expectations, course-work, etc. Possibly a syllabus?

I expect to post that type of information to the class home page. Unfortunately, I won't be able to put that up until all of my paperwork goes and my account is provisioned in the JHU system.. I'll try to share what I can on the blog going forward.
