« What goes around... | Main | Threats to Message Exchanges in a SOA »

Joe McKendrick has a list of Ten companies where SOA made a difference in 2006 .  These are companies that moved beyond the pilot stage into live deployments and are seeing results. They include:

  • eBay
  • IBM
  • Wachovia Bank
  • Harley Davidson
  • Hewlett Packard
  • Ameriprise Financial
  • Amazon
  • Citigroup
  • OnStar
  • Dreamworks Animation SKG

A good list to point to when asked about examples of successful SOA implementations.

Update (12/26/06):  Another eight more companies (International Truck, MedicAlert, Experian, Washington Group, Siemens AG, The Hartford, FBI, Monster).
