« Presentation to CMAP on "SOA, Interopera... | Main | Is this a SMARTER Goal? »

I recently upgraded to the latest version of DasBlog (v1.9.X). This is a test of the Mail to Weblog functionality of DasBlog.

The inline picture (which hopefully will show up) is part of a Brief that I am giving on SOA.

Okay, now that picture is both funny and disturbing in the context of SOA... You see, in Dutch, SOA is the acronym used for "Seksueel overdraagbare aandoening", or STD... Whenever I mention SOA in a Dutch crowd I am sure to get a giggle or two "What, you're telling us we should all contract SOAs?"

Something you might want to keep in mind when talking to Dutch audiences :)

Seems like a z-order issue with the image. Resize the IE window and when the main white column's right edge forces it off the image, the image will appear on the black background. I don't have enouhg dasBlog experience to know off top of my head a precise fix, but I imagine it's somewhere in the CSS (or somewhere the styles are specified).

Making the img position: relative; fixes the display issue in IE. Whenever something like this happens, position: relative; is the first thing I try...

P.S.: If this is a dup, feel free to delete it - it is either me and CAPTCHA or dasBlog and FX...
